Cut Medical Costs

A medical crisis should never leave working families buried in debt. Hospitals have no right to slap liens on homes, garnishing wages, or using other hardball collection tactics. Joe is pushing to end those practices and add transparency plus cost-review boards so care stays within reach.

Lower Energy Rates

While Macomb families struggle to afford basic necessities, Lansing policies have allowed utilities to drive up energy costs. Joe voted for a plan to force utilities to roll back three years of rate increases, saving families an average of $250 a year.

Lower Housing Costs

Joe has led the fight in Lansing to reduce the cost of housing. He voted to eliminate the state property tax, saving families $1,000 annually. He also introduced legislation to provide for a housing tax credit for new developments, making Michigan competitive in our region and reducing the cost of housing.

A Macomb Native, and Lifelong Resident

Joe is a lifelong Macomb County resident who bought his first home in Clinton Township. He earned an MBA from Michigan State in 2023 and holds a Biomedical Diagnostics degree from Oakland University.

Community service is a core part of his work. He supports local charities through the Clinton Township Kiwanis and Goodfellows, promotes small businesses on the Young Professionals Steering Committee, and previously served as a Clinton Township Planning Commissioner. As president of the Macomb Humane Society, he raises awareness for rescue dogs and advocates for their well-being in the State Legislature.

He was elected State Representative for District 60 in 2022 and has worked to bring Macomb County’s concerns to Lansing.
